Plastics Gathering, Whitehorse, YT
November 2-3, 2021

This 2 days-event was hosted by the Council of Yukon First Nations and gathered representatives from Yukon First Nations, territorial and federal governments along with key stakeholders to discuss issues around micro and nano plastics. More information about this event here.

Project format: The meeting was held both in person and online (and therefore was joined by participants from across Canada). Graphic recording was conducted in person, on large paper rolls pinned to the walls. Photographs of the graphic notes were shared with participants as the meeting unfolded. A series of digital illustrations as well as a synthesis of the entire meeting were produced afterwards. These illustrations were designed as public outreach tools and formatted to be shared on social media and similar platforms.
